Bio

Shannon Edwards is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Lindenwood University.  Upon graduation from Lindenwood, Shannon will be certified to teach music to grades K-12.  She holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Photographic Studies Certificate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from St. Charles Community College. 

Shannon's musical experience began at the Orchard Farm School District, where she participated in the choirs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  During her senior year of high school, she was accepted into the Honor's Choir, and was invited to be a student conductor for her high school graduation ceremony. 

At the collegiate level, Shannon has participated in both the Chamber and Show Choirs at St. Charles Community College, in University Singers at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and is currently participating in the University Chorus at Lindenwood University.  In addition to her choral experience, Shannon has had three years of musical theatre experience, and has both lead worship and sang in the worship team at her church for the past six years.  In September of 2004, Shannon participated as a semi-finalist, as a member of the singing group Sanctified, in the Christian Artist Talent Search (CATS), which was televised on the Inspiration Network (INSP) in 2005.
